RIVIERA MULTIFINANCE, a financial investment adviser (CIF) and member of ANACOFI-CIF, provides non-independent investment advice. Pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2019/2088 (SFDR), it publishes below information relating to the integration of sustainability risks into its advice, the consideration of principal adverse impacts, and the consistency of its remuneration policy.
Definitions. Sustainability risk means an environmental, social or governance (ESG) event or condition that, if it occurs, could have an actual or potential material negative impact on the value of an investment. Principal adverse impacts (PAI) mean the negative effects of investment decisions and advice on sustainability factors.
The firm integrates sustainability risks into its advisory process. It relies on sustainability information provided by product manufacturers (SFDR classification of products - Articles 6, 8 or 9 - pre-contractual documents and key information documents) to assess the exposure of products to ESG risks and their consistency with the client's situation and preferences.
It collects each client's sustainability preferences through a dedicated questionnaire and takes them into account when assessing the suitability of recommendations.
Given its size (fewer than three people), the nature and scope of its activity, and the still partial availability of data relating to adverse impacts at the level of the recommended products, the firm does not currently take into account principal adverse impacts on sustainability factors within the meaning of Article 4 of the SFDR. The firm will review this position in light of the development of available data.
The firm is remunerated by fees and/or commissions, under the conditions set out in its remuneration transparency procedure. Its remuneration policy is consistent with the integration of sustainability risks into advice: it does not encourage risk-taking in relation to sustainability that is inconsistent with clients' interests.
